Exit Polls: India
Thursday, May 14, 2009
This time a unique thing has happened. All the news channel are projecting almost identical numbers for both the political formation. Have the psephologist finally got it right? Only 16th may would tell. Waiting eagerly for the result not because of who forms the next government but to see if the psephologist have got it right.
Mind you its not like that there is no contradiction in the prediction being made. Some states where pollsters have got it mixed up are Maharshtra, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Three crucial states and each of which is large enough to swing the decision a particular way. So even this time psephologist have given themselves a chance to get it wrong this time.
